POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Fabricate and Weld small or large projects from basic (or complex) blueprints to completion. Weld stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITES:
Read basic or complex prints.
Tack-weld or weld projects.
Use of Hi-Lo, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
Responsible for quality and quantity of work, quality checks, and controls as appropriate.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate effectively and handle stressful situations.
Good reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work with steel plate and bar, structural shapes, miscellaneous fasteners, and rigging equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Occasional hazardous work requiring heights, rigging and confined spaces.
Noise levels may vary.
Must abide by safety rules.
Majority of time spent in clean / modern facility. BENEFITS:
